Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Glass Transit website and any development services you engage with Parambhariya LLP ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the site or purchasing a development engagement, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
Glass Transit is a product development initiative operated by Parambhariya LLP. We develop custom mycelium-based transport inserts designed to protect glass bottles during transit. The service is currently in a development phase and is offered to select business customers on an invitation and enquiry basis.
Each development engagement is for a single SKU (bottle shape/size), and results in a prototype insert evaluated over a 3–5 week timeline.
2. Development Fee and Payment
Development Fee: Up to ₹50,000 (one-time, per SKU)
The exact fee depends on the bottle size, mould complexity, and development effort required for the selected SKU. It is confirmed in writing before development commences, after the bottle dimensions and transport scenario are reviewed. Most pilots fall within this range.
This fee covers custom mould fabrication, material growth cycle, an initial insert batch (exact quantity confirmed based on insert size and mould configuration), and an evaluation and decision framework.
Payment is processed securely through Razorpay, a Reserve Bank of India regulated payment gateway. Payment is initiated only after the confirmed fee amount has been communicated to and agreed by you. By completing payment you confirm that:
- You are authorised to make the payment on behalf of your organisation.
- You have been informed of and agreed to the confirmed fee amount prior to payment.
- You understand the fee is for a development engagement and not a finished product.
- You understand the insert batch quantity is variable and confirmed before development commences.
- You have read and accepted these Terms.
3. Refund Policy
The development fee is non-refundable once development work has commenced (typically within 5 business days of payment confirmation). If we are unable to commence development for reasons attributable to us, a full refund will be issued.
If you wish to cancel before development has commenced, please contact us immediately via the booking link or LinkedIn. Cancellations received before work starts will receive a full refund minus any applicable payment gateway processing fees.
Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days of approval and credited to the original payment method used at checkout.
4. What the Fee Does Not Cover
- Commercial-scale production runs (a separate commercial agreement is required for volume orders).
- Modifications to the insert design after development has concluded.
- Shipping or logistics costs for sending physical samples.
- Additional SKUs — each distinct bottle size or shape requires a separate development engagement.
5. Intellectual Property
All mycelium material formulations, growth processes, and technical know-how developed by Parambhariya LLP remain the exclusive intellectual property of Parambhariya LLP, regardless of any customer-specific customisation involved in the development.
Customers retain ownership of their bottle dimensions, brand specifications, and any proprietary information they share with us. We will not disclose such information to third parties without your consent.
At the conclusion of the development engagement, you receive the right to purchase inserts produced using your custom mould under a commercial supply agreement to be negotiated separately. No licence to the underlying material technology is granted.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat as confidential any proprietary business information shared during the development engagement. This includes bottle specifications, supply chain details, and commercial pricing discussed between parties. This obligation survives the conclusion of the engagement.
7. No Guarantee of Outcome
Development of novel biomaterial packaging involves inherent material science and engineering uncertainty. While we apply rigorous process controls, we cannot guarantee that every development engagement will result in a commercially viable insert for every bottle geometry. If a prototype does not meet minimum performance benchmarks, we will document the outcome transparently and discuss options with you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parambhariya LLP's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a development engagement shall not exceed the total development fee actually paid by you for that engagement. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Use of the Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to restrict access to the site at any time without notice.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a development engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We encourage good-faith resolution of disputes before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the site or engagement with our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
